Optimizely is excited to bring our developer Network together at our upcoming local meetup! Our first event will be held at the Glassblower in London's Soho, hosted and sponsored by the UNRVLD team, a full-service digital agency, DXP specialist, and Optimizely backing partner. Enjoy a night full of networking, great/content/speakers, food, and beverages! We are excited to have our OMVPs and Optimizely Staff discuss .NET 5, Optimizely Date Platform, Full-stack experimentation, and more on our first stop in London.


Scott Reed, Solution Architect @ Niteco - "Introduction to .NET 5.0". Scott has worked in digital agencies for over a decade, He has spent his time building large complex solutions on the top .NET digital content platforms. He has worked with clients driving change and allowing product owners to fulfill their digital strategy goals. As an Episerver/Optimizely MVP since 2018, he has engaged heavily with the community and helps people in all aspects of the Optimizely platform; from attending events, contributing to online forums/discussions, and speaking about the platform any chance he gets.

Jonathan Mullaney, Technical Architect @ UNRVLD - "Full-stack experimentation".  Johnny operates as a Technical Architect for UNRVLD where he loves to excite customers by translating complex business requirements into innovative high-performing product strategies & technical solutions. He has worked with Optimizely Solution Partners for 12 years across Australia and now from his base in Dublin, Ireland. Over that period, he has performed in a variety of roles from Developer, Technical Lead, Software Development Manager, and Technical Architect. A real area of passion for Johnny is enabling major E-Commerce brands to delight customers while optimizing commercial performance by using data to validate strategic and technical decisions. 

Andrew Markham, Technical Architect @ UNRVLD - "Introduction to ODP"Andrew is a Technical Architect with Made to Engage / UNRVLD with over 20 years of experience within the IT sector; the last 10 years he has been delivering Award-winning sites using Optimizely. He specializes in commerce and content management and also has a strong technical background that covers a broad range of .NET and web technologies.

David Knipe, VP Solution Architect @ Optimizely - "Real-time segments in ODP or GraphQL". David has nearly 25 years in the technology industry having worked on the corporate, agency, and vendor side. Previously a developer, architect, and technical director, David is now VP of Solution Architecture for Optimizely and also an OMVP/EMVP alumni. A veteran of numerous implementations across e-commerce and marketing, David knows what success looks like and is always looking at new ways of exploiting the latest tools and technologies to create joined-up, deeply personal experiences for customers. A natural-born problem solver, David has spent his most recent years at Optimizely as a presales wizard building out compelling stories to solve real-world customer problems, using all the capabilities Optimizely has to offer.

Mark Everard, Technology Director @ UNRVLD - Our MC and back-up speaker. Mark is responsible for UNRVLD’s Optimizely technology function, ensuring they develop and deliver great solutions for our clients. He has worked across digital platforms for almost 20 years, both client-side and with leading agencies as a software developer, architect, and senior technology lead, helping the major UK and global brands with their technical strategy, delivery, and operation. He has been recognized as an OMVP since 2011 and specializes in content management, commerce, web technologies, and digital marketing. A scientist at heart (and with a Ph.D. in Physics). Logical thinking, data, and experimentation form the basis of Mark's approach to pretty much everything, from parenting to making a cup of tea!



This event will follow the Glassblower's Covid-19 rules and guidelines. 

There are no restrictions at this time and the use of masks is up to the attendee's discretion. 

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result should stay at home and not attend this event.
